The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has called for synergy between the Armed Forces,  other security agencies and the media as a way of achieving success in operations being carried out by the force.

Following the near-deplorable security situation in Edo State, the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Benin branch, thursday called for the declaration of state of emergency on the state of security in the state.

The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) Wednesday kicked against calls for the removal of security votes, insisting that doing so would be inimical to development.
