The Portuguese is a serial winner across Europe but his reputation was badly tarnished in the final few months of his Manchester United reign, which ended late last year.

The man who charmed English football when he arrived as a fresh-faced manager at Chelsea in 2004, labelling himself the “Special One”, left Old Trafford last December under a dark cloud.

Off-Duty NYPD Police Officer Busted For Attacking His Wife

An off-duty NYPD housing cop assaulted his wife during an argument inside their Brooklyn home, police said.

Cops from the 83rd Precinct in Bushwick took Police Officer Manuel Cantor-Alonso into custody about 2 a.m. Saturday after his wife called 911 and said her husband had attacked her, police said.

The two were in the middle of an argument when the 38-year-old officer pushed her to the ground and kicked her, said cops. The woman was not seriously harmed.

Cantor-Alonso, a 12-year NYPD veteran, was charged with assault. His arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court was pending Saturday.

EFCC Releases List Of 18 Fraudsters Busted In Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, has arrested 18 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos.

The suspects are Abass Mukhtar, Enitan Adekunle, Olakunle Araoyinbo, Korede Adetule, Christmas Gabriel, Christmas Yole, Christmas Emmanuel and Harrison Obayogbono.

Others are Victor Kenneth, Adewale Musibau, Oluwajuwon Shofuyi, Idris Abdulazeez, Oyeku Adeoye, Omilana Adeleke, Okeke Chucks, Peters Olamide, Abayomi Jones and Usman Olalekan.

The suspects were arrested at three different locations in the Alagbado area of Lagos State, following intelligence reports received by the Commission from concerned members of the public about their alleged involvement in criminal activities.
