Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday brought Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II together when he visited the palace of the Emir.

Prof. Osinbajo, who was in Kano State on a one-day working visit was also described by Governor Ganduje as a “son of the soil.”

The Vice President was in Kano to commission a number of road projects that were completed by Ganduje. He also laid the foundation stone for the first state-owned Cancer Centre in Nigeria.

A World Boxing Federation (WBF) Intercontinental heavyweight title bout between US-based Nigerian, Onoriode “Godzilla” Ehwariemi, and Argentina’s Ariel “Chiquito” Baracamonte will headline the 20th edition of GOtv Boxing Night (GOtv Boxing Night 20).

This was announced in Lagos, yesterday, at a press conference addressed by the organisers, Flykite Productions. The bout is one of the nine scheduled for the show slated to hold on 28 December, at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
