Saudi-Funded University Gets Land From Gov Matawalle

The Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle has made the approval of the allocation of a section of land for the establishment of a Saudi-funded Qur’anic and Islamic University in Zamfara state.

The university has been slated to be established by Atta’arif Fil-Islam Charity Organisation which is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Banditry: Gov Matawalle Directs Residents To Procure Guns

The Zamfara State government under direct orders from the State Govenor, Bello Matawalle, has directed the State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ayuba Elkanah to issue mass licenses to residents of Zamfara State who are qualified to use guns for self-defense.

He made this direction while reacting to the rising spate of insecurity in the State.

The Zamfara State government had also directed residents pf the State to make sure they prepare and obtain guns to defend themselves against the bandits that have occupied almost all parts of the State.

Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle has asserted that Northern Nigeria is its own biggest enemy.

Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle was furious on Thursday while addressing allegations that he donated vehicles to bandits.

He spoke at an interaction with traditional rulers, religious leaders and security chiefs at the Government House in Gusau, the capital.
