Kogi: Bello Names SSG, 17 Commissioner-Nominees (Full List)

Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi state, on Monday listed 17 Commissioner nominees.

He announced the retention of the incumbent Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Folashade Ayoade-Arike.

Bello made the announcement in his inaugural speech after taking Oath of Office and Allegiance in Lokoja.

The Governor appealed to members of the State Assembly to screen the nominees in earnest to enable the full take-off of government activities.\

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has assured people of Kogi State that Governor Yahaya Bello would focus on people-oriented policies during his second tenure.

Former Governor of Borno, Ali Modu Sheriff, has condoled with Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi over the death of his sister, Rabietu Bello, and the recent attack on Tawari community in the state.

The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has reacted to the death of Taiwo Kola-Ojo, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Kogi West Chairman.

Bello, who mourned the death of Kola-Ojo, prayed God to grant the family, party members and the entire people of the state the fortitude to bear the loss.

The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Abubakar Bello as the governor of Niger State.

The apex court dismissed the appeal filed by Mohammed Nasko of the Peoples Democratic Party challenging the victory of Bello of the All Progressives Congress in the March 2019 election.

Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello and his deputy-elect Edward Onoja have been issued their certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lokoja.
