
Coronavirus Survives In The Air For Very Long
A new study by a team of scientists at Beijing’s Academy of Military Medical Sciences has found that coronavirus can travel up to 13 feet (four meters) — twice the distance current guidelines say people should leave between themselves in public.
They reached the conclusion after examining air samples from hospital wards with COVID-19 patients.
The preliminary results of the investigation by the researchers were published Friday in Emerging Infectious Diseases, a journal of the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
