Messi Among Barca Players To Undergo Tests For COVID-19

Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi, and other Barcelona stars are set to undergo tests for Coronavirus on Wednesday (today) as they prepare to return to training ahead of Spain’s LaLiga restart in June.

This is coming after Spain’s ministry of health gave clubs permission to return to their training grounds after lockdown rules were relaxed.

After getting tested, players who do not have coronavirus or symptoms of the disease will train individually.

Barcelona have already announced that they are planning to welcome their players back to the Joan Gamper sports city on Wednesday ahead of LaLiga return in June behind closed …

Barcelona Players Will Take 70 Percent Pay Cuts

Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi has confirmed a 70 percent pay cut for Barcelona players during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to a statement made on Monday, additional funds will be directed to club staff throughout the crisis following the club’s enacting of the pay cut.

Negotiations were reported as ongoing between the squad and board over the exact nature of the reduction, with a breakthrough now made.

As well as taking a 70 per cut pay cut, stars will make contributions to ensure ordinary staff receive their salary in full during the suspension of football.
