Egypt Reaffirms Support For Lebanon’s Security And Stability

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon and the wider region, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Wednesday.
During the call, Abdelatty emphasized that Egypt places the security and stability of Lebanon among its highest priorities. He reaffirmed Cairo’s steadfast support for the Lebanese people as well as for Lebanon’s government and state institutions. According to the statement, Egypt believes that strengthening unity and stability in Lebanon is essential to protecting its sovereignty and long-term security.
