B/Haram: Terrorists Attack Village In Chibok, Kill 6

Boko Haram fighters have attacked Kwaranglum village in Borno State, killed six people and reportedly abducted two women.

Residents told NAN that the incident occurred on Christmas eve, throwing the whole community into pandemonium.

Kwaranglum is about a kilometre to Chibok town, Headquarters of Chibok Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State.

The state commissioner for poverty alleviation, Mr. Nuhu Clark, an indigene of the area, told newsmen that the Boko Haram insurgents invaded the village at sunset prayer time (around 6pm), and started shooting sporadically.

B/Haram: Kidnapped Victims Speak From Captivity [VIDEO]

A college lecturer and 10 other persons who were recently kidnapped by Boko Haram have called on President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to come to their rescue.

This is coming barely 24hours after the execution of four aid workers by Boko Haram.

The captives include Christians and Muslims who were abducted along the Damaturu-Maiduguri highway.

B/Haram: NAF kills ISWAP Fighters, Destroys Meetings Venue

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has neutralised some Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters at their hideout in Kollaram on the fringes of Lake Chad in the Northern part of Borno.

NAF said the insurgents were obliterated as they assembled for a meeting at the same area.

The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has condemned in strong terms the killing of aid workers by Boko Haram terrorists in Borno.

The aid workers were abducted by terrorists in July 2019 on their way to a remote community in the northeast to provide humanitarian support to victims of Boko Haram violence.

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the execution of four aid workers by Boko Haram in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno.

The four men were among the six aid workers who were abducted on 26 July when their convoy came under attack near Damasak, in the Mobbar LGA.
