Lagos Drops Charges Against Naira Marley, Gbadamosi

The Lagos State Government has withdrawn charges against controversial singer, Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and former gubernatorial candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi violating the government’s order, which barred a public gathering of more 20 people.
Naira Marley, Gbadamosi and his wife were dragged to Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba for attending a crowded birthday party hosted by popular actress, Funke Akindele in Amen Estate at Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
Their acts violated the government’s social distancing directive to check the spread of coronavirus.
