The Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been formally presented with the award for Leadership Person of the Year 2021 at the Leadership Newspapers’ Annual Conference and Awards ceremony in Abuja.

 Afropop superstar, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid has won SoulTrain’s Ashford and Simpson Songwriters’ award.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that he won the award at the 2019 ceremony held on Sunday in Las Vegas.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ singer earned the award for his collaboration with Beyonce, Blue Ivy Carter and SaiNt Jhn on the sensational song of Beyonce’s ‘Lion Heart: The Gift’ album.

FEC approves the award of ₦169.74bn for 10 roads

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the award of N169.74 billion contracts for the construction and rehabilitation of ten roads across the country.

With the award, it is expected that 2,750 direct jobs will be generated with over 90 per cent to be taken up by Nigerian workers.
