Attacked Emir Of Potiskum, Alhaji Umar Bubaram Discharged

The Emir of Potiskum, Alhaji Umar Bubaram, has been discharged from Barau Dikko Hospital after being treated for an injury he sustained when his convoy was attacked by gunmen in Kaduna-Zaria highway.

The Emir was seen entering his vehicle, smiling and acknowledging greetings from people who trooped to the hospital to thank God Almighty for saving his life after the attack by gunmen.

His aide and security personnel attached to him did not allow him to speak to the media, but from all indications, the Emir left

Facebook: Kanu, Radio Biafra Attacked

Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has raised the alarm that his Facebook account and that of Radio Biafra have been cloned.

Kanu who disclosed this in a statement he personally signed and obtained by Sunday Sun yesterday said that the “shameful practice by Facebook Nigeria to allow the suppression of truth and free speech is indirectly supporting state-sponsored terrorism in Nigeria.”

A Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, (LASTMA) official, Ola Oyeshina who was attacked at about 5:00 pm on Friday, 29th November during the course of sanitising Iganmu-Sifax axis of Apapa has died.

As farmers across the country continue to count their losses arising from the destruction of their crops and farmlands by herders, cultivators in eight of the hardest-hit states claim that about N284 billion worth of products were destroyed.

Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Saturday attacked Nandu -Gbok village in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna state, killing 10 people.
About 30 houses were also reported to have been burnt down by the bandits.
