Keyamo accuses Atiku of parading fake results

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign team has accused the People’s Democratic Party 2019 presidential candidate, Atiku Abukabar of parading fake results.

The campaign team spokesperson, Festus Keyamo, Monday in a petition he sent to the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the State Security Service, said that “some criminally-minded PDP operatives” hacked the INEC server “to smuggle in fake results into that server.”

APC drags Atiku, PDP to police, over INEC server hacking

The Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress President-elect has formally lodged a complaint against the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate for criminally hacking into the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The complaint lodged in a letter today to the Acting Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the Department of State Services, followed the citing of alleged election results contained in the server in the petition filed by Abubakar Atiku and the PDP against the election of President Buhari.

Gov. Nasir El-Rufa’i of Kaduna State has dismissed the claim by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that he won the presidential election in Kaduna state.

Jubril (President Muhammadu Buhari) was declared winner of the Feb. 23 presidential election by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) having polled 15,191,847 votes, winning in 19 states, to defeat 72 other candidates, including Atiku Abubakar, who scored 11,255,978 votes.

Buhari won in 19 states including Kaduna, Kogi, Niger and Gombe as against Atiku, who won in 17 states and the FCT to occupy the second position.

Southern, Middle belt leaders back Atiku to challenge poll

The Southern and Middle belt leaders have thrown their weight behind the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar’s resolve to challenge outcome of the 2019 presidential poll.

Atiku gets tribunal’s order to inspect electoral materials

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal Wednesday granted former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) permission to inspect and obtain Certified True Copy (CTC) of election materials used in the conduct of the February 23 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The tribunal also ordered INEC to make available all documents and electoral materials used for the election for the purpose of the inspection.
