The 46-year-old has taken Leicester to second in the Premier League behind Liverpool, with 11 wins from 15 matches this season.

New Manager, Same Old Arsenal Held At Norwich

Arsenal caretaker manager Freddie Ljungberg said it is obvious what he needs to work on as the Gunners’ defensive problems were again exposed in a 2-2 draw at struggling Norwich on Sunday.

Norwich twice led through Teemu Pukki and Todd Cantwell, but Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ensured Ljungberg did not suffer defeat in his first game since taking temporary charge.

“It’s easy to see what we have to work on,” said Ljungberg. “We need to work on the transitions, we dominated and they break on us too easily.”

Emery: Xhaka’s Arsenal Career Over

Unai Emery bemoaned the catalogue of problems that have plagued Arsenal’s season as he admitted Granit Xhaka may not play for the club again.

The captaincy furore, sparked by Xhaka’s bust-up with supporters against Crystal Palace which led to him being losing the armband, is the latest in a line of issues that have disrupted Emery’s plans.

Arsenal’s start to the campaign had already been overshadowed by Laurent Koscielny’s shock pre-season strike and Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac being victims of an attempted car-jacking.

According to Emery, they have all been major factors in why Arsenal head to in-form Leicester

City and Arsenal were expected to run further checks on Olaniyan at the ongoing U17 World Cup, but the Sidos Academy wonder-kid was omitted from Nigeria’s 21-man roster after failing to recover from a knee injury.

The two English Premier League clubs are mulling over whether to invite …

Manchester United And Arsenal EPL Clash Ends In 1-1 Draw

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Arsenal on Monday in a Premier League game which was a poor imitation of some of the past clashes between the clubs.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 58th minute goal, given after VAR review, cancelled out Scott McTominay’s well-struck opener on the stroke of halftime, but it was a game which highlighted the weaknesses of the two teams.

The result leaves United in 10th place with just nine points, their worst start after seven games for 30 years and they have won just one of their last six league games.
