Eagles Arrive In Maseru Ahead Sunday’s Clash With Lesotho

The Super Eagles have arrived in Maseru for Sunday’s 2021 Africa Cup Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Crocodiles of Lesotho.

The players and their officials left the Akwa Ibom Airport, Uyo in the early hours of Saturday and arrived the Moshoeshoe I International Airport, Maseru in the afternoon.

“We have arrived in Maseru. #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong #LESNGA,”reads a Tweet on the official Twitter handle of the Super Eagles.

South Africa Arrive Egypt For U-23 AFCON With 12 Players

South Africa arrived in Egypt on Tuesday for the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, which begins on Friday, with just 12 players.

They are due to open their campaign, of what is also the qualifiers for the men’s Olympic football tournament ,against Zambia on Saturday with just 15 players available.

South Africa’s top clubs refused to release their players before Monday, when the Fifa window for international matches begins.

The South African Football Association (Safa) fail in its bid to get the clubs to release players early.

20 New Coaches Will Arrive Nigeria In Six Weeks – Amaechi

Minister of Transport, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, said 20 new coaches for the Abuja-Kaduna and the Lagos-Ibadan rail lines would arrive the country in about six weeks.

Amaechi said this while answering questions on his arrival from China at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Explaining the thrust of his official visit to China, where he took delivery of some new trains, Amaechi said: “We went for two items, basically to get more locomotives and coaches. Five-time champions, Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have landed in the host nation, Brazil, for this year’s FIFA World Cup finals, which will hold from October 26 November 17.

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra on Sunday evening arrived in the United States on a business visit to the City of Orange in New Jersey.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the governor landed at the Newark Liberty International Airport in company with some party and government officials.
