EFCC arrests APM Assembly candidate for vote buying in Ogun

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)Β arrested a candidate of the Allied Peopleβs Movement (APM) for the Abeokuta South State Constituency 1, Mr. Sotayo Johnson, for allegedly luring voters to cast their ballots for party during the governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Ogun state.
Sotayo wasΒ said to have been going about while election was going on, allegedly to buy votes but the Operatives of the EFCC caught and arrested himΒ in Ward 7, Ijaye area of Abeokuta with a polythene bag laden with one thousand naira notes.
