A 50-year-old man has been arrested by Lagos state police command for alleged defilement of his 19-year-old daughter since she was 11.

The spokesperson of the state police command, Bala Elkana, said the suspect was arrested after his 45-year-old wife reported the matter at the Ikotun police station.

The Nigerian Army says its troops of Operation Lafiya Dole (OPLD), have announced the arrest of Zainab Usman, wife of a Boko Haram/ISWAP leader.

The Nigerian Army Operations Media Coordinator, Col. Aminu Iliyasu, in a statement on Sunday, made the announcement in an update on the war against Boko Haram and Islamic State for West Africa (ISWAP) terrorists.

UK: Teenagers, Others Arrested For Terrorism

The British police arrested a total of five men in various parts of England on suspicion of terrorism on Monday.

The arrests occurred in Manchester in the north-west, in Peterborough in eastern England and in London.

Men of the Ogun State Police Command and some suspected land-grabbers clashed on Wednesday at Ewujomo village, via Igbosoro, Ogijo, in the Sagamu Local Government Area of the state.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), said it recorded no fewer than 200 arrests of Internet fraud suspects, popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boys’, in October alone.

The Acting Chairman of the commission, Mr Ibrahim Magu, stated this at an interactive session with newsmen on Friday in Abuja.
