Ekiti: APC Secretariat Shut Down As Party Supporters Protest

There was turmoil in the APC party secretariat in Ekiti as aggrieved members protested on Saturday over the alleged plot to impose the Deputy Speaker of theΒ House of Assembly, Mr Hakeem Jamiu, for a second term.
Some of the aggrieved APC members, who were from Irepodun/Ifelodun State Constituency II, accused the StateΒ Working Committee, led by Mr Paul Omotoso, of working with some of the individuals in government to force Jamiu on them.
Jamiu, who is from Igbemo-Ekiti , is a serving lawmaker in the Assembly, representing Irepodun/Ifelodun constituency II.
