Joshua, Fury fight Will Hold As Planned, Promoters Insist

The promoters of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have expressed their confidence that the all-British clash between both heavyweight boxers will still go on as planned despite Fury ruling it out earlier in the week.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that Fury had earlier fixed a Monday 5pm deadline for Joshua and his team to finalise on terms on the Dec 3 fight.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn had described the deadline as quite ridiculous however, when it passed, Fury called the fight off on his social media in a video calling Joshua names.

Two-time heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua will make £100 million from the rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, a sum comparable to that of his multi-million dollar DAZN contract Africa Daily News, New York has learnt.

Anthony Joshua Retains Titles After Knockout Win Over Pulev

Anthony Joshua has successfully defended his WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight world titles following his ninth round knock out victory over Kubrat Pulev on Saturday night in London.

The Nigeria-born British champion floored his Bulgarian challenger three times in a dramatic but yet entertaining contest.

Already, many believe this ruthless win by Joshua should earn him an undisputed fight against Tyson Fury next year.

Saturday’s contest between Joshua and Pulev began predictablely on a cagey note as both men appeared very cautious and exchanged jabs intermittently. In round two, Joshua began to take the fight to Pulev and fired off …

Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed he is “ready to conclude a deal” for an all-British showdown between his fighter and Tyson Fury in December to determine the undisputed world heavyweight champion.

Fury beat American Deontay Wilder last month to win the WBC title, meaning he and Joshua, the WBA, IBF and WBO champion, hold all four of the major belts in boxing’s heavyweight division.

Clamour for a bout between the pair has been building but Joshua will first take on IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev of Bulgaria on June 20 while Fury is likely to settle a contractual …

Tyson Fury Wore A ‘Nigeria’ Mouthguard To Dare Joshua

In case you’ve somehow missed it, Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder in their long-awaited rematch in Las Vegas last night.

Although most people mocked Fury for saying he wanted to knock out the WBC champion, no one was mocking the Gypsy King when he got the job done.

In the seventh round, Wilder’s corner threw in the towel and stopped the barrage of attack that was being offloaded onto their fighter.

From the very first bell, it was all Tyson Fury.

The Brit was an animal from the get-go, knocking the champ down on numerous occasions before the towel
