PSA And Fiat Chrysler Poised To Announce Merger MOU

French carmaker PSA and Fiat Chrysler will on Wednesday announce a memorandum of understanding for a mega-merger to create the world’s fourth-largest auto producer, a source close to their talks said.

The MOU announcement is set to come before the Paris and Rome stock exchanges open for trading, the source added.

Earlier Tuesday another informed source said that PSA’s supervisory board had approved the deal under which shareholders in the two groups would split the capital of the merged firm on a 50/50 basis, without any plant closures.

Democrats unveiled two articles of impeachment against Donald Trump on Tuesday in a momentous step asserting that the US president abused his office and deserves to be removed.

If the charges — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress — are approved by the full House of Representatives in a vote expected next week, it would make Trump the third US leader ever impeached and placed on trial in the Senate.

An angry Trump dismissed the charges as “ridiculous” but Democrats insisted presidents are not untouchable.

Trump to announce re-election bid at Florida rally

U.S. President Donald Trump is set to announce his candidacy for a second four-year term at a rally in Florida.

Trump’s campaign for re-election in 2020 chose the 20,000-seat Amway Centre in the centre of the state to make the announcement on Tuesday.

The event is scheduled to start at 8 p.m (0000 GMT).

Trump has been touting the rally in tweets, claiming there has been a large demand for tickets.
