Iran Vs US: America Reportedly Withdraws Troops From Kuwait

Kuwait’s Defense Minister on Wednesday said it has received a letter from the Commander-in-Chief of a U.S. military camp in Kuwait “declaring imminent withdrawal of all U.S. military forces in three days,”

The state news agency, KUNA quoted the minister as saying, “Receiving such [a] letter from Camp Arifjan was unexpected and we are communicating with U.S. Department of Defense for more details and information.”

But, Kuwait’s government in reaction said that a Wednesday report of a U.S. troop withdrawal is incorrect and that the state news agency was hacked.

US Vs Iran: America Warns Its Citizens In Nigeria

The US has advised its citizens in Nigeria to be mindful of their surroundings and be security conscious following the killing of Iranian army Chief, Qassem Soleimani and the rising tensions in the Middle East.

In a statement published on its website, the US Embassy in Nigeria also cautioned American citizens to maintain low profile and take personal security measures across the world.

The embassy advised US nationals to stay alert in public places, including schools, hospitals, government facilities, places of worship, tourist locations, and transportation hubs.

Trump cuts aid to central America over migrants

The Trump administration has  announced plans to slash hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

The news came after U.S. President Donald Trump criticized the thousands of Central American migrants who have come to the U.S. in search of asylum at the U.S. border with Mexico.

U.S. Department of State Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said funds for programs in those countries would not be provided until the administration is satisfied these governments are taking concrete actions to reduce the number of migrants coming to the U.S.
