Former Governor of  Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau, has given reasons why he defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

Speaking at a press conference in Kano,  he revealed he and his supporters had exhausted every option to amicably resolved issues they had in the APC but were frustrated throughout the process and had to seek greener pastures.

2023: APC Announces Rescheduling Of Presidential Primaries

The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Felix Morka has revealed that the presidential primary of the party has been rescheduled and is now scheduled to hold on May 29th, 2022 on the same day as the opposition PDP.

Africa Daily News, New York recalls that the party had earlier scheduled its primary to hold between May 30 and June 1, 2022.

The party spokesperson disclosed this while addressing journalists on Wednesday after the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

A Presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, asserted that party would remain intact after its presidential primaries contrary to widely held insinuations.

The national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has denied been among the sponsors of the #EndSARS protest.
