Tinubu visits Zazzau Emir for royal blessings

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has paid a political visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Bamalli, after  he had attended the seventh edition of the Kaduna Investment Forum.

Tinubu, who had been accompanied by his host, Gov. Nasir el-Rufai, and some other APC stalwarts, had been in the palace to seek royal blessing and pay homage to the emir.

Mr Paul Ibe, the senior special adviser to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has said that Godswill Akpabio, the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, lied when he denied saying that the National Assembly received 60 percent of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, contracts.

While answering questions at the ongoing probe of the NDDC by the House of Representatives committee, Akpabio had linked contracts awarded by the Commission to members of the National Assembly, saying that the majority of the contracts awarded were handled by the lawmakers.

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the claim by a Nigerian frontline lawyer, Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose, that he may return to the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq., National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, has said that even though former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is constitutionally qualified to run in the 2023 presidential election, he is ethically and morally unfit and ineligible to contest.
