193 Almajiris Test Positive In Kano As Repatriation Continues

The Kano State Government has revealed that 193 Almajiris have tested positive for Coronavirus, further fueling the controversy surrounding the ongoing reparations exercise.
The State Commissioner for Education, Sunusi Muhammad Kiru, while briefing the media on Thursday said so far a total of 1500 Almajiris have been evacuated from Kano to their states of origins while the state received 400.
He said the state has banned the traditional Qurβanic Schools and anybody who wants to operate it must have a Dormitory for his Almajiris.
