Aisha Reveals Why Buhari Can’t Sack CBN Gov, Emefiele

Controversial Nigerian socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu, has opined that President Muhammadu Buhari actually lacks the full constitutional power to sack the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele.

She made this statement to contradict rumours making the rounds on social media indicate that the governor who had indicated an interest in contesting for president under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC has been sacked.

Reacting to the rumoured reports, the Activist said the president may need to go through legislative processes before sacking the apex bank governor.

Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu on Sunday reprimanded President Muhammadu Buhari over the appalling security situation of the country, describing him as having zero use.

Aisha Yesufu Blasts Festus Keyamo Over Tweet

Co-convener of BringBackOurGirls, Aisha Yesufu, has lampooned Festus Keyamo over a comment on Twitter.

The Minister of State for Labour and Employment had criticised those he suggested were taking sides on Nigerian issues.

On Saturday, Keyamo said their moral assertions were all political views.

He tweeted: “The hypocrites amongst us are those who claim to be politically non-aligned, but curiously and constantly make excuses for those in one political party whilst always vilifying others. Their so-called moral postulations are nothing but carefully packaged and veiled political views.”
