Sallah: Aisha Buhari Makes Demands From Muslims Faithful, Nigerians

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has urged all Muslim faithful to adhere to the lessons of this year’s Sallah celebration.

The First Lady, who made the call in her Eid-el-Kabir message on Friday, also thanked Nigerians for observing the protocols designed for COVID-19 pandemic.

Aisha Buhari said that Nigerians should make the best use of the financial support being provided through the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to boost their businesses in a bid to cushion the effects of the COVID-19.

The Presidency has reacted to the shooting incident that happened in the Presidential Villa on Thursday.

Recall that First Lady, Aisha Buhari had cried out over the arrest and detention of her Aide-de-camp by the Inspector-General of Police.

The Presidency said President Muhammadu Buhari says the law should be allowed to take its course.

The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to immediately release her aides.

Mrs. Buhari stated this in a series of tweets on Friday.

The aides were reportedly detained based on the orders of the Chief Security Officer to the President, Idris Kassim.

Sahara Reporters had reported that a top aide to the President, Yusuf Sabiu aka Tunde, who had recently returned from another state, refused to self-isolate but forced his way to the Presidential Villa.

The Northern Governors Forum (NGF) has congratulated the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, as she celebrates her birthday today while lauding her contributions to the promotion of quality health care and girl child education.
