Deadly Russian Airstrike Hits Ukraine’s Capital, Kyiv

At least one person has been confirmed dead following an airstrike on a residential building in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine on Monday ahead of fresh talks with Russia.

According to the country’s emergency service, scores of residents were injured during the attack by Russian forces.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that the Russian troops had continued to edge closer to the city even as they kept up their siege of the southern port city of Mariupol, where officials said about 2,200 people have been killed so far.
