I read the nonsense from Gov. Willie Obiano media men, James Eze, Ejike Anyaduba, Obigwe and others. Even when the present deplorable state of Anambra State are echoed by Anambrarians, James kept saying Obi’s boys. He even mentioned Dr. Emeka Egoigwe, a practicing medical doctor as among Obi’s boys. Why this level of wickedness? The only crime Obi committed is that he made Obiano the Governor. The only thing Obiano and his team do daily is trying to de-market Obi. About  3, 000 legislative aides who served during the 8th National Assembly between 2015 and 2019 are eagerly awaiting the  payment of their severance benefits which may total about N8 billion.

Some of them are already seeking fresh appointments with the newly inaugurated Senators and Representatives.

The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in its  Remuneration Package for Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders, Senators, members of the House of Representatives and many of the legislative aides recommends payment of 300% of annual basic pay to them as severance entitlements.

An undisclosed number of guests who attended the inauguration of excavators procured by the Oyo state government last Friday were said to be hospitalized after eating snacks and drinks served during the event.

Gov. Bello’s wife, 3 aides involved in road accident

The wife of the Kogi State Governor, Mrs. Amina Bello has been involved in a car accident along the Obajana-Kabba road on her way to Isanlu for the women’s rally of All Progressives Congress (APC).

The accident occurred at Kabba, an area where the helicopter conveying the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo crash-landed penultimate Saturday.

Alongside the wife of the governor, three aides of the Kogi State Government were involved in the road accident, though there was no record of death.

In a statement he issued Saturday, Bello’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Onogwu Muhammed confirmed the accident
