Rape: IGP Re-Opens Case Against Osun Cleric

The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammad Abubakar Adamu has re-opened the case of an Osun State based Islamic cleric, Abdulrahman Habeebullah over alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl. 

Habeebullah, popularly known, as Al-Edewy in Ede area was re-arrested at the weekend after his trial before the state Magistrates’ Court was initially discharged in August, following an out-of-court settlement.

Al-Edewy was first arrested by the police on July 1 and arraigned before the court on July 4.

Air Peace: Allegation Against Allen Onyema False

Ejiro Eghagha, AirPeace Chief of Administration and Finance has denied allegations made against her by the  US Attorney in Atlanta, Georgia in relation to purchase of Aircraft, Aircraft spares and Aircraft maintenance for her employer.
Eghagha insists that none of the allegations involve any third  party funds but relate to funds belonging to her employer and utilized in the Airline business.

Teenage bowling sensation Naseem Shah will become one of the youngest cricketers to play a Test after Pakistan captain Azhar Ali confirmed Wednesday the 16-year-old will make his debut at the Gabba.

SA: Bosasa Lays 171 Charges Against Agrizzi For Stolen R37m

Facilities management company Bosasa laid criminal charges on Wednesday against, among others, their former chief operating officer, Angelo Agrizzi, and former chief financial officer, Andries van Tonder, both of whom testified against the company earlier this year at the state capture commission.
