
FIFA Condemns Senegal Conduct After AFCON Final Chaos
FIFA president Gianni Infantino on Monday condemned the conduct of Senegal players and members of the coaching staff following chaotic scenes at the end of the Africa Cup of Nations final, saying walk offs and violence have no place in football.
His comments came shortly after Senegal won the tournament with a 1 to 0 victory over host nation Morocco, sealed by a Pape Gueye goal in extra time.
