FG Should Adopt Arik As National Carrier – AMCON MD

The Managing Director of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), Ahmed Kuru, has called on the Federal Government to adopt Arik Air as a national carrier rather than trying to set up a new airline from scratch.

Kuru said this when he appeared before the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions led by Senator Uba Sani and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

Nigeria Working To Adopt Visa-On-Arrival Policy – Onyeama

Nigeria and the Republic of Namibia have agreed to strengthen cooperation in areas that will be beneficial to both countries in particular and the African continent.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama disclosed this on Wednesday in a statement by his Special Assistant, Media, Ms. Sarah Sanda.

Onyeama said that the agreement was reached at a meeting in Windhoek with Namibian Ministers led by the country’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mrs. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

15 Imo gubernatorial candidates adopt Senator Araraume

Fifteen governorship candidates of diffrent political parties under the platform of forum of Imo state governorship candidates Wednesday adopted the state governorship flag-bearer of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume.

The candidates led by Elder Chukwuemeka Allias, of the National Interest Party, NIP, alongside 14 others stormed the campaign office, of Senator Araraume along MCC road in Owerri, where they unanimously adopted the APGA, guber candidate.
