Bandele’s Last Film Will Break People’s Hearts — Kosoko

Veteran actor Jide Kosoko has asserted that the set-to-be-released film by the recently deceased Biyi Bandele which is due to be released next month will break many people’s hearts when they watch it.  
Africa Daily News, New York recalls that on August 7, 2022, filmmaker Biyi Bandele unexpectedly passed away. This shocked many, considering that he had just finished directing the film “Death and the King’s Horseman.” The movie is a reimagining of the same-titled play by Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka; the play has not yet been released, but it is eagerly awaited by many.

Less than 24 hours after the death of slumdog millionaire actor Irrfan Khan, India’s Bollywood is in mourning again as 67 year-old actor Rishi Kapoor passed away.

He was 67 years old.

Kapoor’s death was announced by Amitabh Bachan, his acting colleague: T3517-He’s gone..! Rishi Kapoor ..gone. Just passed away..I am destroyed”.

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) is investigating the shooting of actor Patrick Shai on Monday.

Shai was shot 11 times with rubber bullets when community members of Dobsonville, in Soweto, took to the streets to protest against power cuts in their area.

Louie Rankin, famous for his role as Teddy Bruckshot in the Jamaican movie ‘Shottas’, has died after being involved in a horror car crash.

The Grammy-award winning reggae artist, who worked with stars such as DJ Khalid and DMX, was involved in the fatal car accident in Ontario, Canada on Monday.

A transport truck and another vehicle were said to be involved in the wreckage, according to TMZ.

Further details are yet to surface but he is thought to have died from injuries sustained in the crash.
