Air Peace Acquires B737-800 Aircraft To Boost Operations

In line with its expansion plan, Nigerian carrier, Air Peace has acquired a B737- 800NG to boost its domestic and regional operations.

Mr Stanley Olisa, Corporate Communications Executive of the airline, confirmed the development to newsmen on Friday in Lagos. He said the aircraft arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at 8 p.m. on Thursday from Europe.

James Hope College Foundation Acquires American School

James Hope College (JHC), Agbor, Delta State, a coeducational initiative of the Jim Ovia Foundation, yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with American International School, Lagos (AISL).

Under the MoU, the foundation has acquired the American School’s Lekki Campus facility to establish James Hope College.

The acquisition will take effect from September next year.

NECO acquires 8000 biometric machines

The National Examination Council (NECO) has procured 8000 biometric machines to verify candidates’ identity for the 2019 NECO Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.

Registrar of the Council, Abubakar Gana, who disclosed this in Minna, Niger State, said the biometric machines, which were procured late last year following approval from NECO’s Governing Council and Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) would also check impersonation during the examination.
