Lagos Explosion: Peter Obi Reacts To Death Of Revd Sister

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 general election, Peter Obi has reacted to the death of Rev Sr Henrietta Alokha, Principal of Bethlehem Girls’ College, Abule Ado, Lagos.

DAILY POST reported that Rev Sr Henrietta was among the 17 who lost lives in the early morning explosion which occurred at Abule-Ado.

The principal was said to have died while rescuing students.

Reacting, Obi on his verified Twitter page consoled with the management of the Bethlehem College, even as he praised the heroic act

Black Sunday In Lagos: Many Dead, 70 Buildings Destroyed

Many people have been feared dead and over 70 houses destroyed in Sunday’s pipeline explosion which rocked Abule Ado area of Ojo, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

A massive explosion was heard on Sunday morning, accompanied with thick smokes and balls of fire. The explosion shook several houses miles away from the scene.

Emergency management officials were seen evacuating the remains of several dead victims.
