24-year old Abubakar Yusuf has met his waterloo for allegedly stealing a Zawani android phone which has been valued at β¦90,000. A Kano Sharia Court in Fagge had ordered that be remanded in a correctional centre on Wednesday.
The defendant, who resides at Sheka Gabas, Kano, was facing a two-count charge of criminal house trespass and theft, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The Judge, Ismaiβl Muhammad-Ahmed, ordered the remand of the accused in a correctional centre and adjourned the matter until June 13 for mention. Earlier, the Prosecution counsel, Mr Abdul Wada, had told the court that the defendant …
