WAFU-B: Celebrations As U-20 Flying Eagles Soar Into Semis

In a last attempt to clinch some good victory for themselves, the Nigerian National Under-20 men’s football team, the Flying Eagles, on Wednesday qualified for the semi-finals of the WAFU-B U-20 championship in Niamey, Niger Republic.

The team played a 2-2 draw with their Burkinabé counterparts in a thrilling encounter at the General Seyni Kountche Stadium, Niamey, to scale through in their second and last Group B match.

The team had, on Sunday, beaten their Ghanaian counterparts 2-0 in their opening match.

One of the sponsors of the 2022 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, Revolution Plus Properties has put out a statement that it has fulfilled its promise by allocating some plots of land to winners of the just concluded competition.

Bamidele Onalaja who is the Managing Director of the Real Estate Company,, stated this in an interview on Wednesday in Lagos.

He said that the allocation of land to indigenous winners of the competition was to mark the company’s eighth anniversary and the fourth year of supporting the 11-year-old race.
