UN Chief Begs Russia Not To Cut Nuclear Plant From Ukraine Grid

Antonio Guterres who is the United Nations chief has on Friday pleaded with the Russian Governement that the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station should not be actually cut off from Ukraine’s grid, following some of the Ukrainian reports that Moscow had been planning to cut them off.

“Obviously the electricity from Zaporizhzhia is Ukrainian electricity… This principle must be fully respected,” the UN Secretary General said during a visit to the port of Odessa in southern Ukraine.
