Former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega, yesterday said that the 2019 general elections were a setback to the “positive gains the country had recorded in its electoral process.”

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has claimed that it has the support of more than 70 percent of registered voters in 18 local governments in Kogi.

The party made the claim on Wednesday in a statement ahead of its official campaign flag-off in Lokoja on Friday.

The Hausa community in Ibusa, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, have requested for identity cards as a step towards curbing security challenges in the area.
