PDP Carpets APC Govs As Products Of Electoral Manipulation

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sunday accused many of the Governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, of being products of huge electoral manipulations.

It said it was against this alleged backdrop that the APC governors are standing alone in defence of the widely condemned judgment of the Supreme Court on Imo governorship election.

The opposition party also insisted on a review of the apex court judgement.

Anambra PDP Protests S’Court Judgment

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Anambra State on Sunday protested the judgment of the Supreme Court of January 14th, which sacked it’s candidate for the 2019 Imo Governorship election, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha for Senator Hope Uzodinma of All Progressives Congress, APC.

Atiku, Buhari Sends Message To Emeka Anyaoku

A former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has extended birthday wishes to former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, as he turns 87 years on January 18.

Atiku described Chief Anyaoku as an enabler of freedom, justice and democracy in Nigeria and African.

The Nigerian military says no fewer than 608 repentant Boko Haram insurgents are currently undergoing De-radicalisation, Rehabilitation and Reintegration (DRR) Programme by Operation Safe Corridor (OSC) at Malam-Sidi, Gombe State.

A former governor of old Kaduna State, Balarabe Musa, has said that the main reason the leaders and governors of the Southwest region set up the new security outfit, Operation Amotekun was to create Oduduwa Republic.

The Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigerians and lovers of democracy to rise to the defence of democratic institutions, especially the judiciary.
