Supreme Court: APC Stages Counter-Protest In Abuja

Some chieftains and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, are staging a counter-protest in Abuja, few minutes after the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP protested against the judgement of the Supreme Court which sacked Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP and declared APC’s Hope Uzodinma as governor.

Charles Idahosa, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has alleged that the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole was plotting to be the running mate of a Northern presidential candidate in 2023.

Idahosa made the allegation while warning that Oshiomhole will disappoint APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu in the build-up to the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking with Daily Independent, Idahosa said Oshiomhole will team up with a Northerner to work against Tinubu.

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has been accused of running a government of secrecy where only his immediate family are the one in charge of governance.

The entrances to the Supreme Court, Monday, witnessed uncommon security arrangement as the apex court is set to deliver guber appeal judgments in the heavily politicised Sokoto and Kano states.
