Resign Now, You’ve Failed – Bamgbose Backs Abaribe

Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose, the National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, has joined voices with those calling for the immediate resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari.

DAILY POST reported earlier that Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, had while contributing to a debate on the deteriorating security situation in the country on the floor of the Senate, called on President Buhari to resign, adding that the present administration had failed to proffer solutions to the high rate of insecurity across Nigeria.

In a reaction to the call, the Presidency, dismissed Abaribe as an “arm chair critic” describing the comment as “foolish.”

US Visa Ban: Buhari Asked To Resign

The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign.

CUPP made the call while expressing shock at the immigration visa ban slammed on Nigerians by the United States government.

President Muhammadu Buhari has established a committee, chaired by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, to study and address updated U.S. requirements relating to the assessment of compliance with certain security criteria by foreign governments.

Lalong Threatens To Dethrone Erring Traditional Rulers

Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, has threatened to dethrone any traditional ruler that allow their citizens to cause violence and killing in their respective domains.

The governor added that any traditional ruler that cannot manage his people would also be dethroned.

Biafra Security Service Back In Full Force – Nnamdi Kanu

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has revealed that the Biafra Security Service (BSS) is secretly being reestablished for better performance.

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has said there is not enough funds in the state treasury to embark on some projects.

Imo: I’m Hopeful S’Court Won’t Overturn Itself – Uzodinma

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, on Friday, expressed optimism that the Supreme Court would not reverse its judgment that sacked his predecessor, Emeka Ihedioha, and declared him winner of the March 19, 2019 governorship election.

Recall that the apex court had, on Jan. 14, removed Ihedioha of the PDP on the ground that he did not score the lawful majority votes in the Imo governorship race.

Maiduguri the capital Bornu state has been hit again by suicide bomber New Telegraph reports. According to report on its website it report that their is an indication that five people have been killed and numerous others injured as two suicide bombers attacked.
