Imo APC Stages Another Solidarity Rally For Gov Uzodinma

Members of the All Progressives Congress in Imo state have taken to the streets of Owerri, the state capital to reaffirm their support for Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

DAILY POST gathered that the solidarity rally held today was the second of its kind since after the Supreme Court judgement that returned the ex-senator as the ex-governor of the state.

US Visa Ban: Nigerians Paying For Past Sins Of PDP – BMO

The Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) has carpeted former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for not knowing the difference between a visa ban and a visa restriction.

BMO said that Nigerians are only restricted from immigration visa and that other visa categories are still available to Nigerians who qualify for them.

In a statement signed by its Chairman Niyi Akinsiju and Secretary Cassidy Madueke, the group said rather than gleefully celebrate the visa restrictions, Atiku should be remorseful that his party, the PDP, is responsible for this inconvenience

Kano: Ganduje Mocks Kwankwaso Again

Kano Governor, Umar Ganduje, on Friday, said results of the recent re-run elections in the state had proven that his predecessor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, had been retired from politics.

Ganduje, who recently called the ex-Minister of Defence a selfish person, spoke at the Government House when Speaker of the House of Assembly, Abdul’aziz Garba Gafasa and other principal officers, presented the elected legislators to him.

Abbas Says Palestinians Cutting All Ties With Israel, US

Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas announced Saturday a cut of all ties with Israel and the United States, including security cooperation, after Washington unveiled a controversial Middle East plan seen as favouring Israel.
