Political Thugs Attacked Me Not Protesters – Oyetola
The Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola has said that political thugs planned the attack on him during the End SARS protest on Saturday in Osogbo.
The incident occurred while the governor was addressing the peaceful protesters.
According to him, political thugs hijacked the exercise and hurled stones and dangerous weapons and vandalised several cars.
Oyetola disclosed that preliminary investigation further revealed that no live bullet or cannister of teargas was fired at the rampaging political thugs, adding that no life was lost at the scene of the incident while he was properly evacuated to safety.

Eko, Marine Bridge To Be Reopened On Monday – FG
The Federal Government has approved the reopening of the Marine Beach Bridge and the Eko Bridge in Lagos State.

Tinubu Denies Sponsoring #EndSARS Protests
The national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has denied been among the sponsors of the #EndSARS protest.
According to a statement issued on Saturday by Tunde Rahman, spokesman of the APC chieftain, Tinubu could not have sponsored a protest that is affecting the economy of Lagos state.

LG Polls: Bauchi Electoral Body Distributes Sensitive Materials
Ahead of tomorrow’s local government elections in the state, the Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (BASIEC) on Thursday night distributed all sensitive materials to the 20 local government areas in the state amidst tight security.
