Majority Of Nigerians Don’t Trust Police – Gov Fayemi

The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has expressed concern that many Nigerians don’t trust the police, adding that citizens do not also see police officers as their friends.

He restated the need for the government to introduce a reform mechanism that would improve Nigerians’ trust in police.

The Ekiti state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) said Governor Kayode Fayemi would be forced to contest for presidency in 2023.

This comes days after supporters of Bola Tinubu, national leader of the APC, inaugurated ‘The South-West Agenda (SWAGA)’ in readiness for the 2023 presidency.
