United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, will meet with Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday (Today), during his first virtual trip to Africa since US President Joe Biden came into office in January.

The National Broadcasting Commission’s hammer on Monday fell down very hard on Channels Television by ordering an immediate stoppage of one of its programmes, ‘Politics Today’.

According to the commission, it took the decision following a live interview the station had with the spokesperson for the Indigenous People of Biafra, Emma Powerful which is a proscribed group.
