Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has reiterated his call that the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria should be dismantled and re-written.
According to Akeredolu, the yearnings and aspirations of the people must be reflected, as well as the interests of the various ethnic groups in the country well taken care of.
The Governor made these remarks at the 67th Anniversary and Annual Reunion of the Loyola College Ibadan Old Boys Association (LOCOBA).

Obey IPOB Sit-At-Home, Lose Your Salary – Anambra To Workers
The Anambra State Government has threatened to withhold the August Salary of any worker who abstains from work on Monday in obedience to IPOB sit-at-home directive.
This is contained in a public announcement by the Head of Service, Barry Harry Uduh which was sighted by Africa Daily News, New York on Sunday.
Uduh directed Commissioners and permanent secretaries to monitor the situation and report accordingly.

How We Rescued Another Chibok Schoolgirl – Zulum
Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum on Saturday revealed that another Chibok girl has been rescued from captivity.
According to the Governor, the rescued girl was identified as Ruth Ngladar Pogu. She was reportedly married to a Boko Haram fighter and returned with two kids she delivered while in captivity.
The governor made this revealation at the Government House in Maiduguri where she was reunited with her mother.

Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has asserted that medical treatment in Nigeria is ‘fairly okay’ contrary to widely held insinuations.
