₦277bn: Buhari Seeks Senate Approval To Utilise Funds

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday has written the Nigerian Senate seeking their approval for the virement of ₦276,757,232,395 billion to fund various expenditures in the 2021 budget.

The request was conveyed in a letter dated Dec. 16 and read at plenary by the Senate President Ahmad Lawan and it comes on the day the Senate passed a bill to amend the 2021 Appropriations Act.
