Boko Haram Diminishing, Victory Now In Sight – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has claimed that Boko Haram and other terrorist groups are now fading adding that ‘victory is within sight’. 

The president, however, assured Nigerians that the ongoing battle being waged against terrorists, who falsely masquerade under the name of Islam is now in its final stages and would soon become history.

Drug Violence: Ecuador Declares State Of Emergency In 3 Provinces

The President of Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso has put out an announcement on Friday that he had decreed a state of emergency for two months in three provinces with the highest registered levels of violence due to drug trafficking in the Country.

“I have declared a state of exception in the (coastal) provinces of Guayas, Manabi, and Esmeraldas, effective from midnight tonight,” he said in a speech broadcast by state media.
