In the race for leadership for 2023, Dr David Olofu, the Commissioner for Finance in Benue, has opined that the Idoma nation is well-positioned for producing a governor for the North-Central state in 2023.

There was turmoil in the APC party secretariat in Ekiti as aggrieved members protested on Saturday over the alleged plot to impose the Deputy Speaker of the  House of Assembly, Mr Hakeem Jamiu, for a second term.

Some of the aggrieved APC members, who were from Irepodun/Ifelodun State Constituency II, accused the State  Working Committee, led by Mr Paul Omotoso, of working with some of the individuals in government to force Jamiu on them.
