Owo Massacre: How FG Shamed Us, Akeredolu Laments

Tears flowed unhindered yesterday at the funeral mass for the victims of the June 5th terror assault at the Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owaluwa, Owo, Ondo State.

During the occasion at the Mydas Resort and Hotel in Owo, the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), could not conceal his feelings.

While making his remarks, Akeredolu wept as he said the government failed to safeguard the victims of the terror assault.

The governor stated the government had failed to safeguard the victims as well as the entire citizenry, while family of the deceased and sympathisers wept.
